This project explores the idea of generating patterns by drawing densely packed objects guided by the structure of a tiling. To get interesting and non-repeatable patterns, I used a modified pinwheel tiling with up to four distinct tile shapes. The patterns were drawn in code based on a number of parameters that I could tweak in real time through a custom user interface. Since the patterns seemed well suited for textile printing, I concluded this experiment by ordering some custom printed fabric.
